Yes, I said it. Potty Train. And Wyatt is succeeding with flying colors!! We started on Monday and he peed on Ginger's (daycare lady) carpet once. He got into some trouble for that and since then at Ginger's has been completely dry yesterday and today. Monday night at Grandma's house was not as successful, but he went once at her house. Last night at our house, Wyatt didn't go anywhere but in his pants at out house. Which did not go over too well, but today......no accidents!!!!! I think I may be more excited then he is but hey that's OK! It's all about the little things anyway!!!!!!
What will we do now, without having to buy diapers and wipes and no more bottles and formula around. Wow the kids are growing up, we might need to have a party with all that money we are saving!! WOO HOO!!!
Yeah right all the money we are saving???? That is just going right back into buying preschool clothes for Will. And is he excited!! Grandma Ann, Will and I went school shopping at Kohl's to get Will some cool new school clothes and it was pretty exciting to venture to the "little boys section" instead of shopping in the toddler isle! Will wasn't very worried about anything but getting Transformer and Scooby Doo underwear, wish that was my only worry in this world. He came out with quite a wardrobe I must say. He will be one of the cutest preschoolers I've ever seen!!! He is getting so big it is kinda scary! In fact a quote from Will as I am typing this is......
"Ronda, Ronda, excuse me, Ronda can you come here please?"
Me: "Will what do you want?"
"Ronda will you please switch the movie I want a new one."
Me: "OK I'll be in in a minute."
"Ronda come change the channel."
Where did he learn to talk like that? And since when am I Ronda and Mom? Oh well!!! Amazing, that's all I can say about that kid. Amazing.
He also has a girlfriend. His cousin Abbie's 17 yr old friend Theresa is Will's "girlfriend" When he see a pic of her he gets all smiley and says "there is my girlfriend" Its pretty cute, although she is a little old for him!!!!
Well that's about it right now, just trying to keep up with laundry and housecleaning! That's what we do here!!
I'll try and post some pics soon, I haven't had much time for editing and organizing my images, but soon I promise there will be new pics on here!!!!!!

Tidbits
So today as I'm trying to get Wyatt to settle down and fall asleep (at 7:30 pm since he had no nap), Will comes in from outside and decides that he wants to rock with me and Wyatt. He says, "Mama, I don't feel very good, my tummy hurts." I say "Oh No, maybe you should get ready for bed since you dont feel good." Will says "Yeah, I don't feel good........I feel like dog poop Mama. Dog Poop." As I am laughing to myself trying to figure out why he thinks he feels like dog poop, he says: "I feel icky, just like dog poop and it stinks!" I'm not really sure that I want to go there trying to figure out his logic, I'm just going to assume that he didn't feel very good!! Kids say the darnest things............... more tidbits to follow I'm sure!

TA DA!! The new Swing Set is here!!!
Yes, it is like have mini version of Vegas for kids in the backyard!!!!!!!
Drew and I decided to purchase the boys a new swing set since the one that we acquired from Raelyn and Greg was no longer "safe" for them to play on. We have been looking at this swing set for 2 years and finally bit the bullet and ordered it. It took 3 weeks for it arrive at the house and only took Drew about 12-14 hours to put it together. It is quite the Swing Set. The boys were stunned the day they came home and saw the boxes (which had pictures on them) and then amazed the next day when they came home from daycare to see the new playset in the back yard. Will looked at me in the car with his mouth as wide open as I have ever seen it and says "Mama, its perfect!"". Wyatt just smiled and said "Wow!". It has been a great babysitter since Drew erected it and it is hard to get them to come in at night now. Here are some pics of the old one and of the new one.......

Gone Fishin'
Been Fishin lately?
Recently Drew has been on a kick to take the boys fishing. We went and got some sweet fishing poles for the kids, (and Drew too) Will picked out SpongeBob and Wyatt got Spiderman. They were pretty excited to go "catch some fish"! We went to Drew's grandparents cabin to fish out of Rapid Creek. We thought that this would be a good place to start in case the boys got bored and we needed a distraction. They actually stayed pretty focused on the task, and Will thought that he was big stuff fishing just like his daddy!
Wyatt only had a bobber on his pole and mostly stuck the end of it on the shore until Grandma, Laura, Abbie and Emily showed up. Then we took a walk to the falls and tried to tire the boys out. We finshed everything up right before it rained!!!! Here are some pics.........
(By the way, Drew did catch a fish, but he hooked it in the eyeball so we decided it techinally didnt count!)
Some great news for us...Will got into the preschool that we wanted him to go to!!!! He is sooo excited, and asks me everyday is he is going to preschool. All of our neighbors and even a few strangers now know that he is going to preschool!!! He also lets everyone know that his swing set is broken. He is growing up sooooo fast!!! Thats all for now..will write more soon...Enjoy the pics!!!!

North Carolina 2010
So I have finally gotten all of our vacation pictures from North Carolina finsihed and looking back on all the pictures, we had such a great time. The boys are still asking me if we can go to the ocean on a daily basis since they had so much fun there. They also miss the sun since it has been so rainy and cold here at home. We had a great time just relaxing and playing on the beach. We had awesome food each night which included more seafood than I have ever eaten in my whole life. For not being much of a seafood lover, even I can say that it was great food. It was nice to catch up with Drew's dad and family again. It has been 2+ years since we have seen them and hopefully we won't wait that long before we see them again. (although I doubt that will happen now that they are both back in the States!)
We took many "treasure hunts" (beach walks) looking for seashells with the boys and Wyatt was such a daddy's boy that Drew couldn't do anything without him. He would usually start walking on the beach but halfway through, he would make Drew carry him back to the beach house. He loved the beach though and I know that he can't wait to see Brian and Kelly again!
I should start from the beginning and explain the airplane rides that we went through to get to North Carolina. Will started about a week before the trip talking about riding on the airplane. He was so excited about the airplane, he barely got any sleep the night before we left. As we are sitting in the airport in Rapid waiting to get on the plane, Will is watching some of the other airplanes landing and makes up his own little song: (To the rhythm of "Pants on the Ground")
"Flying on a plane, Flying on a plane"
"This is serious, This is serious"
"Plane's gonna crash, Plane's gonna crash"
"Get your parachute, Get your parachute"
I look over at Will in astonishment that he made this whole song up by himself, however I look at some of the other passengers in the airport, and I don't think that they were as impressed as I was. I figured out later that he came up with some of these parts from playing Wii Sports Resort and flying the airplane. I thought it was kinda funny, and when you put it to the rhythm of pants on the ground, it is pretty funny. I took some pictures on the plane of the boys, they did pretty good the first flight, Wyatt slept on the second flight and they were ready to be on the ground on the third flight. They did get to watch a movie on one flight and that helped. Will was very serious about reading the safety instructions on each flight which was pretty funny, but it was tough to keep the kids in thier own seats without a lot of bribing with candy. Thank God, we dont fly that much.
Serious about that safety brochure

This is all our stuff we hauled with us
After we got there the boys were very happy to see Grandpa Simmons,Grandma Mary, Brian and Kelly!
We stayed the night in Raleigh and then drove about 2 hours to Emerald Isle, where the beach house that we stayed at was. The boys ran to the ocean immediately and were a little hesitant to go right in. It was a little chilly the first day that we were there, so I dont think the ocean was very appealing. Over the next few days we just stayed at the house and enjoyed playing on the beach, hunting for seashells, taking beach walks and just relaxing. Here are some pics from the first few days:
Wyatt's first dip in the ocean
Not very happy in the ocean!
Just waiting for the ocean to come and take him away......
and then it flips you over and gets you all wet!
and this is why they call him Magoo!!!!
We were lucky enough to have a school of dolphins that swam by the beach house almost everyday and they would get pretty close to the shore. Here are a few pics of them and some cool ones of Laura, Leah, Adam and Kelly swimming pretty close to them.
Here are some other fun pictures from some of our trip....

Wyatt would tend to run away on the beach with his boogie board, this is what he would look like as he came back...

We had a pool at the house that we stayed at too. We went and bought the boys a little blow-up airplane pool toy, and as you can see it wasn't just for the kids..

The birthday party for Adam and Brian
We were about 20 min away from an aquarium that was pretty cool and of course the boys loved it. They got to touch real Sting rays and saw a diving show inside the shark tank. I'm pretty sure that the boys favorite thing to do was the Sting Rays but the jellyfish caught their attention too!
Check out this alligator mom!

Here are some more pics from the rest of our vacation. We did some family pics on the beach before we left and they turned out pretty good. There are also images of our lobster night that the boys enjoyed. Wyatt didn't seem to be scared of the live lobsters as they were pulled out of the box, but Will wouldn't have anything to do with them. I think he liked seeing them after they were cooked and turned red. We definitely enjoyed our trip and it sure didn't last long enough!

The treasures!
It took me awhile to get this on the blog since I took close to 600 images on our vacation and being the perfectionist that I am I had to edit all of them before I could put them on here. We did have a great time and I know that the boys can't wait to see the ocean again. These are just a few of the fuin things that we did there, but we wanted to share them with everyone....enjoy the pics!!!
